Deleted voicemail

[AC Question]

Help I deleted an important voicemail I had saved and went thru the 9 1 numbers and it kept saying I have no messages. I have read about this but don't get a screen for vm to press on and open a drop down menu? Is there any way to recover?? Please
We have a new Verizon phone
