Deleting Bad Email in Contact Information

In my "ME" profile in my galaxy nexus, one of the email addresses listed is not mine. How do I delete it? The normal editing option for a contact doesn't seem to work. I am syncing to google plus and gmail.

Look in your G+ to make sure the addy isn't in there, and then check in Gmail (try entering the addy into Search when you're in Contacts to see if it's listed)
