Deleting blank pages on Alpha??

I have tried to drag the blank pages to the trash box but it doesn't work... I have also tried everything from the similar thread for S4 but still no luck, please help! How do I delete 2 blank pages that have no apps on?

I think it has to do with the finger placement. Long press, 2 seconds or more, near the bottom of the blank page and then slide it up toward the trash bin. I cannot get it to go away if I long press the middle or top of the blank page.

As soon as the blank page you are working on disappears, a plus sign will show in the center. If you accidentally touch it, there will be another blank page added.
