When I connect my Evo to my PC as a removable drive, I can see the blockbuster app. I am wondering, if I delete that will it actually get rid of the app, but keep everything else safe? Or will it cause some weird issue? Does anyone know, has anyone tried this. I don't want to root my phone, I invested too much for it, I don't want to screw it up.

Thanks so much.

Just root and uninstall all the crap bloat-ware. It doesn't hurt anything and the phone runs much smoother without all those apps taking up ram and rom space.

If I do that, will it void the warranty, and will sprint come after me and seize all my assets, fine me $1 million dollars, and put me in federal prison for life?

i have the unrevoked forever root. so how do we get rid of the bloat?
i saw one thread that mentioned using titanium but that method didn't work.

Unless you root, nothing will stop some of these stubbornly persistent apps from running. It's to the point where I will root just so I can take control of my device.

Go into the market and grab Uninstaller for Root and it will allow you to uninstall any app on your phone.
