Deleting History or Searchs in Maps

I have the Samsung Galaxy S 11 Epic 4 G Touch and I want to delete the searches in the Maps. How can I do this? I tried to clear cache but the button does not work. It is annoying to go to maps and find things I searched for in December. Thanks.

I'd imagine you'd need to clear data on Google maps, not cache, in order to clear your past searches.
