Deleting Photos from external SD Card

I just tried to delete photos (from external SD) using QuickPic and it wouldn't allow me to do so (I have latest version). I thought this was fixed in Lollipop 5.0?? I can delete them using a file manager and also using the stock gallery app. If someone else that has an M9 (or updated M8) can verify I would appreciate it. I like Quickpic, but don't want to have to jump through hoops to delete a photo. Quickpic does display a message to "swipe to the left" to see external card and the photos. This works, but you can "see", but not "delete" the photos. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks. That was the first thing I did. It's not a big deal. I can use the HTC stock gallery app I guess.

All of a sudden it now works and you can delete from the external SD card using QuickPic as of this morning. I deleted 20 photos and used a file manager to make sure they were in fact deleted from the card and not just the app. I don't know who fixed what, but it now works.
