Deleting Recent Locations in Navigation App

Using voice I managed to get directions to three mistakes before getting directions to right location. Still have all distinations showing even though three are incorrect. Would like to delete these destinations or all previous destinations but don't know how to do this? TIA

What worked for me: To delete individual items, go to Maps (not navigation) or from navigation, hit the left arrow at top left to get to maps. On top left there are three bars for the menu, hit it and at the bottom of the menu is settings. Click on maps history. 'X' the individual item you want to delete. Now power your phone all the way down and back up again.
