Delivered but not Received

I sent several messages to my friend and all showed as delivered (2 check boxes) on my phone. My friend says that he did not receive the messages.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Both phones are Android. Messages were sent in WhatsApp (thus I posted in the WhatsApp forum).

Have you tried clearing cache and force stop WhatsApp ?

I have not, I will try that.
Messages I have sent since this happened have all been received, it was just one that was not. The strange thing is that it shows as delivered on my phone.

Probably little glich , maybe this will help out .
