DEMO has appeared on my sons tablet

My son just turned his tablet on and it has DEMO written across the screen in big red letters ??
Any ideas how to get rid of it, he was only using it an hour prior to this happening and it was fine then.

Restart it. If that doesn't help get it to the store where you bought it
