I like to use desk clock in the evening as my main clock and it also allows me to recharge my phone at the same time. My problem is that I like to keep an eye on the temp also. You can do this with desk clock but the temp is always 6-8 degrees off compared to several other weather apps I have on my phone. I use beautiful widgets on my home screen and it lets me choose between accuweather and google weather for the source of the local temp. I would like to be able to do his with desk clock to get a more accurate local temp but don't see that option. Anybody have any suggestions?

I would check the settings and the sync times of the different apps. I would assume that the desk clock is set to sync at longer intervals so the temp is not as updated as the other apps. Keep in mind the shorter sync intervals will use more battery.

The shortest sync time for desk clock is 1 hr. But it is 8 degrees off right after a sync. I don't understand it???

It also depends on where the info is coming from. Maybe one is taking from what your local airport is reporting and another is coming off a different monitoring station and depending on where you live 8 degrees is not all that unbelievable for a difference in two areas of the same city.
