Anyone else get this for the 3d? How does this not charge the phone when it's in the dock?

I have the HTC version. It charges when the dock is plugged into AC power as well as when plugged into a USB. Does both type of connection fail? Are you able to connect via USB to computer to transfer files etc? Maybe the dock unit is faulty?

It does charge thru usb, but I just thought it would charge thru a/c. Kind of disappointed, usb takes so long to charge!

yea, I agree for sure. At times, I can use my battery faster than usb can replenish. Have you tried using a different AC charger and/or cable? If it makes a difference, mine does charge via AC so it is possible.

the ac is hard wired, the usb you can change out. So no such luck with this one! Even the battery charger going thru ac is extremely slow! and it only charged my new battery to 84% when the green light came on!
