Despite April updates, Now Bar still glitching and going AWOL.

I love the now bar feature. However it repeatedly would stop showing and just not work again periodically requiring a restart. I'd hoped the april updates to the now bar would fix it . Unfortunately this is not fixed as it just happened again. During continuous music playback everything was showing, now bar, notification bar scrolling music icon, and media player in the drop down shade. Then suddenly after scrolling reddit a bit while still listening to music, they were all gone. Only solution seemed to be a reboot.......again.
Very very disappointing.

Still completely disappearing occasionally for all apps, requiring restart. Is this happening for anyone else?

Yeah, you're not the only one dealing with this. It's a known bug for some people. Until they fix it, try going into settings and force stopping the app or System UI instead of rebooting your whole phone. That sometimes brings the Now Playing bar back without needing a full restart.
