Detailed instructions for root

These are so far the most up-to-date instructions for rooting MT3GS.. Unfortunately not too many people are ok with helping noobs. I know this because I've attempted to root my MT3GS a few times, got stuck right around the same spot and noone really had the patience to help. I personally gave up the idea in hoping eventually, before I die

The rooting process for the MTG3S is a little finicky, but it's not bad. I used the process here.
The same forum has a lot of roms listed. I'm using Cyanogen 6.1.1, which I installed using their directions here. I'm really enjoying it. It's a very fast and smooth rom.
