Hello,
I finally got my HTC ONE dev edition on tuesday. But i have few concerns using this beast from couple of days.

But i am unable to connect to the 4G network. I am using t-mobile carrier and when i manually search the network, it presents only the 2G/3G networks of T-Mobile and AT&T.
i checked with T-Mobile customer care and he told its the issue with the handset. Also if i select a 3G t-mobile network even then its showing 'E' symbol meaning EDGE (GPRS) 2G network, speed test yielded 48KBPS which is annoying with this phone. Can anyone tell me does HTC ONE dev edition not support t-mobile 3g/4g/LTE ?? which other networks it works with high speed internet ?? - This will be a decisive point for me, to either change the network or change the handset.

Also i am getting battery for only 10hrs on a day. is it common or only i am experiencing this.

Look at the doc that came with the phone for bands. If you have a t mobile sim in an att phone you will get 2g. I have seen people have the wrong sim as well. Devil is in the details

Try to contact ur network and asked for their APN datas, sometimes you need to fill it out manually,

I've got some good news and some bad news for you....That previous things likely aren't the issue. The issue is that:

1) LTE is still very much a work in progress for Tmobile so it's not surprising that isn't coming up.

2) their HSPA+ used to run in a frequency that the HTC One didn't support. The good news is that to make room for LTE and to better support things like the iPhone Tmobile has been moving their spectrum around. Something referred to as refarming. So it sounds like your area has not be refarmed yet. That's the bad news. The good news is that Tmobile is working on it and unless you are in the middle of nowhere, you'll probably be in good shape by the end of the year.

So it comes down to a question of can you live with it awhile knowing that speeds are going to get better later? If not, then you should get the Tmobile version of the HTC One instead, as it has both the 1700 and 1900 bands in it unlike ALL of the other U.S models.
