what are the pros and con's of keeping this checked or unchecked?

From what I've read it helps with games, but it makes some apps misbehave.
I know vignette doesn't work if it's checked and launcher pro blurs it's icons.

Open Table doesn't work with it on either.

It also seems to cause problems with Tapatalk showing certain pictures.
