I had to do a settings reset on my Huawei Nova 3. I had enabled developer mode prior to the reset, and after the reset, the tab for developer options disappeared.
This would seem normal, until I tried to activate the developer options again after the reset by hitting the build number 7 times. But when I tried to do that, it just told me that I was already a developer, even though the developer options tab isn't there.
