developer tools- stay awake?

Anyone have any luck with this option while on wireless charging? It seems to work while there is a cord connected to it, but it will not stay awake on my QI charger?

Using Tylt Vu on a Droid Turbo and for xmas presents gave the Tylt to 2 of my co-workers for their Note 4's. All working great.

Nexus 6, with Nokia's QI charger. Charges fine but will not stay awake as suggested in developers tools.
