developing apps for the KF

I want to develop an app for the KF. I tried following a tutorial in "Android Application Development for Dummies" and while I think the code is correct, I'm bombing the emulator. Anyway I'm getting a "ClassNotFound" runtime exception. Does anyone know of a KF-specific emulator? A KF-specific SDK would also be nice.

Standard Android apps should run on the KF, and if you can't get your app to compile or run on the emulator it certainly won't run on the KF. all of the apps that I've written run on my KF with no issues. However, I do know that the KF is missing some standard libraries so not all apps available on the Android Market will run successfully on the KF. For example, I don't think apps trying to use GPS for location will work on thr KF since it doesn't have GPS hardware and thus doesn't need those libraries. What's the exact error mesage you are getting?

I think I may have made some bad decisions on the Eclipse installation. I'll re-do that before anything else.
