"Device charging slowly" with certain Samsung chargers

Ok people, I'm having a charging issue with my Galaxy S6. Updated my software on Thursday to 6.0.1 (not rooted or anything) but started noticing this issue on Sunday, so not sure if software related.

I have 2 of these original Samsung (fast) chargers with their original wires: EP-TA20JWE
And 1 of these original Samsung chargers with its original wire: EP-TA10JWE

I get a charging issue "device charging slowly" when I use either of the original WIRES from the EP-TA20JWE's. But when I use the wire from the EP-TA10JWE, it says "Cable charging" and charges normally.

That is the behavior that occurs regardless of which charger (power adapter) I match with the wire. Both of my fast chargers used to work just fine before Sunday (the phone would say "Fast charging" when plugged into them).

I took it to a repair store and they performed some troubleshooting and ruled out the possibility of it being a faulty battery or charger. So I guess this leaves either a software issue or a charging port issue? The 2 wires that came with the Samsung fast chargers are the middle and bottom in the attached photo, and the 1 that came with the normal Samsung charger is on the top.

Ok so now I have one of the bottom 2 cables that were giving me issues (has the tag with model #EP-DG925UWZ) connected to the normal EP-TA10JWE charger and it says "Cable charging" (not "Device charging slowly"). Switched to the EP-TA20JWE charger and it says "Device charging slowly". I'm starting to get confused.... Is this a definite charging port issue?

I've had this same issue using the Samsung fast charger. Recently, my phone started showing "device charging slowly" message.

I have several fast chargers (Aukey car charger, Anker wall chargers) and several cables. I only get the issue when the OEM fast charger is used.

I suspect the OEM charger is failing.

Ok so I just plugged in one of the fast chargers to my co-workers Note 5, and I've had the charger say "Cable charging", "Device charging slowly", and "Fast charging" all within 5 minutes. Tried the 2nd fast charger on his phone, and it said "Fast charging". Then plugged that into my phone, and it now says "Cable charging". I'm starting to get really confused by these results. But I do know 1 thing, I haven't been able to get my phone to say "Fast charging" once since this issue arose, yet I was able to get his phone to say Fast charging. (We're both on same software version).

So I'm leaning towards a charging port issue? That's an expensive fix
