I'm interested in this as well. This is one of the two things I think are wrong with this phone. Hopefully someone will come up with a way to eliminate this.

Check to see if you have "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" enabled under Cellular Network Settings. I have T-Mobile and I get this message all the time.

I found an answer on another forum; Cellular Networks ... Access Point Names ... choose "T-Mobile US LTE IPv6"

Tried that APN but it still pops up constantly. Think this is a bug that oneplus will need to fix in a patch.

They fixed this in OOS 3.2.0. Instead of the annoying alert, they put a small permanent icon in the upper right corner.
