Saw this device maintenance optimizer on another Note 7 but can not find it on my Verizon Note 7.
Where is it or Verizon strip this out of the Note 7?

I hunted high and low and could not find it. Is this a good thing that it was removed?
I don't see the benefit for the consumer in removing it.... It's a good tool especially for someone like me that likes to Monitor my ram usage..... It's a nice section to see the overall health of your device

That's messed up sprint removed WIFI calling but it's coming back in the next update... They did leave optimization setting

Samsung needs to have more control over the os/ui experience with the carriers like Apple does. That's bs that Verizon removes stuff at will.

Money, money and money. Also I'm sure Verizon probably has negotiated contracts that allow them to do so. Contracts come back to money ;)
Yeah but why gimp your verison of the Phone? That's only gonna make people want to get them from other carriers ....I have AT&T and I'm not missing anything...

I used to work for Motorola back in the day. And Verizon had sooo much clout with them, it was mesmerizing! We bent over backwards for big red because they purchased the most from us. So, it truly does come down to $$$.

I really thought that T-Mo changed the game when they got rid of contracts and introduced the "pay your device" philosophy. But I guess these carriers still have their customers by the balls. Go figure!

Yeah, I think the device maintenance crap is a waste. And my guess the settings are the same so people don't have to be trained on the new system.
