Device protection for blue Pixel?

Has anyone noticed that they won't allow you to do device protection on the blue version of the
Pixel, or Pixel xl? Any ideas why? Thanks

Not sure what you're seeing -- looks like it allows me to do it (it being out of stock just makes the button look / act weird).
