I didn't really get a chance to see if this was happening before I rooted the phone, but I am getting random reboots.

I rooted the phone using AutoRoot and I currently am running Das BAMF Remix 1.5

It also did this when I was running Tesla Coil and Twisted Sense.

I trying to determine if I should UnRoot and Restore the device so that I can go receive an exchange.

Ideas?

You should try to unroot and see whats up. If you don't receive the reboots, something goofed during your rooting process (which uh, isn't really a reason to exchange it ;) )

I'd try that first and give it a day and see whats up. Then I'd try manually rooting.

Thanks! I will report back

try using a different kernel

Nate, i don't mean to deviate from the OP's original post. But this actually strikes me as quite interesting. Prior to loading BAMF 1.6 Remix. I was running Remix 1.5 with LeanKernel Normal. I had a random reboot about maybe once every 2-3 days with the new radio. I then loaded 1.6 with new radio without the kernel and i have had 4 reboots in the last 24 hours.

Could the kernel really have alot to do with it? Excuse my Noob-ness. I come from years of BB and never had actual radio files, kernels, or roms. Just OS's with everything included.

Just noticed that 1.6 post does not include a link to download the 'NEW' radio. Does this mean it came with it and when i installed 1.6 it was already in it. I assume this since if you look at 1.5 it states that the new file is needed and a link is provided to download?

Well I am about 24 hours into being un-rooted and no restarts, still using the radio version 1.16.00.0223r.

I will keep the thread updated if it happens to reboot on its own.

Thanks for the help thus far, glad to be an android user

I wouldn't say a lot to do with it, but people who tweak with profiles in SetCPU can make their system unstable that can cause these reboots. I've never created separate profiles, and have never noticed my phone reboot itself. I would put the blame more on the radio though as people were having reboots with the stock kernel as well.

And it's looking like there isn't much difference with the leaked radio, and the one that is being released now. If that's the case then Verizon is going to be swarmed with complaints.

Well I suppose it was the root. I re-rooted it and I am now running Remix 1.6.2 with no issues, installing 1.6.3 now

So here's my story..maybe there will be some input:

I was one with crazy reboots. I reverted back to the old RUU. Everything was great except the inconsistent 3G data. A couple of days ago, I upgraded only the radio so I could use MikMik1.4 (now knowing I could still use the old radio). Within minutes I had my first reboot. I changed to leankernel, more stable but still had 2 reboots in an hour. I decided to downgrade my radio to the new cdma/old LTE because LTE isn't in my area anyway. I was using BAMF 4.4.4 kernel. Really stable. I DID have one reboot. I upgraded to 4.4.6(?) But it was worse than 4.4.4 so I went back.

What am I left with now?:
ROM: MikMik 1.4
Radio: new cdma/old LTE
Kernel: BAMF 4.4.4

...I DID notice my reboots happen when I'm using Music Player at the gym and last night when I was getting tons of notifications from FLOW. My kernel min is 1ghz and overclocked to 1.48ghz. Maybe my phone can't handle all the tasks so it reboots? Any suggestions/input?
