I see that Nils has an updater app cooled into his upcoming Sense 3.6 ROM. Is this something a lot of devs are doing now? Or, is Nils the first?

The first rom I saw with it was viper rom. However I read somewhere there was a brick because of it and the ROM hasn't update in a while so I don't know if they will use it again.

That one and nils are the only two I have seen with it.
