DeX with Netflix?

DeX holds S8+ in portrait position. Does this prevent full screen Netflix on monitor from S8+ through DeX HDMI?

the Dex changes the layout of the phone, and it's not the regular portrait or landscape modes, it's different now !

It works but only in a small window. It can not be used full screen. This makes it useless for the main reason I bought it. Do not buy until it has been patched to fix this.

what you need is the samsung usb c to hdmi you can watch netflix in full scrreen the only problem is your phone screen in on all the time

or you can just shell out 30+ for a dedicated streamer. -_-

There are much cheaper and better ways to stream Netflix from your phone onto a larger screen. Chrome cast would be one of them, think they are $35.

I don't think Samsung designed Dex with video streaming in mind.

You're kind of an idiiot with that comment. Yes, some of us want a fully working tablet with the entertainment apps we enjoy in full screen.

Or you can switch to mirroring mode if you already have the DeX dock...
