Question Dextop mode, One UI 8, and Galaxy Z Flip6

Did One UI 8 remove the "desktop mode" from the Galaxy Z Flip6? I used to be able to turn it on under "Developer options" in Settings, but it seems to be gone, now.

I looked this up and found it was removed but was replaced by a new Dex version. I went a little deeper and also found this reply from Gemini saying that Samsung is not going to support the full Dex version.
