DI01 failing... HELP

I tried recovering phone... And it fails everytime.
Tried switching USB ports, doing with and without battery.
Also, I cannot get to recovery mode.

did you happen to flash another phones firmware on your phone, and where did you get the version of odin and DI01 you are using?

yup. i accidently flashed another phone's firmware, and afterwards it went straight to recovery.
in recovery, the home button and volume up did not work.

so i then retried it with DI01, and it fails and stops at the point shown in the screenshot.
if i try to power phone it gives the connect phone to pc picture.
I received the DI01 from a friend, and it had worked perfectly previously.
i'm using 1.3 odin

yeah you are not going to be able to recovery using odin you will need heimdall then you will need after you use heimdall. mind letting me screen share with you?
