Diagnostic software help..

I m not sure if this is in the right area but.. I bought a auto scan tool it's on Android operating system tablet. The software serial number does not match the Bluetooth adapter so I need help to get it changed in the app.. I think it's in the license.dat files but when I open them it looks like Chinese. Tried Google translate and didn't work.. If someone can help me out with this I would really appreciate any input. Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by an auto-scan tool? Is it an OBD device to hook up with your car to run diagnostics?

Yes sorry for lack of information.. It's a matco tablet. It's actually made by launch. Maximus 2.0.

It's an app for Android.. Has an apk and files associated with the app. I'm just not too familiar with the details on everything in them to get into every part of it to change the license.dat file.. I thought since its an android app you guys here would know.

I see -- that would be way over my head, sorry. I wanted to at least get the details of the device, so that someone else who's more knowledgeable may be able to help more easily.

How about some help with custom rom? I see on other sites it says the matco maxme runs on Allwinner A31.. It has android 4.2 but I need 5.1 for another app I want to try... Any idea on how to get that?
