dial to get contacts?

is there anyway to get the contacts to show up as you dial ,,,ie if i wanted to call sean i type 7326 or the first few of his number worked this way on my dx and i liked it

It did the same running Sense which I like too, only way now is to use the search button in the phone app and start typing the name of the person your looking for.

Dialer One works for me.... I even set it to my Primary... it also has alot of customizable features too...

This is a great feature and I can't believe the stock Dialer doesn't do it.

I'm using Rocket Dial and like it a lot. Cheers!

How do you set it to your primary? Stock ICS dialer still comes up when I click on numbers.

I simply remove the Stock Icon from the main menu or menu bar and add the "Dialer one" icon...and whammooo... all my contacts, pictures, etc are there... plus I customized the keyboard and theme to match what I like...
