Dialing via bluetooth

Hello,
In my car the moto g is connected via bluetooth.
By default I can speak to my car-kit to dial a contact, the number is dialed via my car-kit but no reaction from the phone.The only thing that does work is when i dial manually from my phone, then i can hear and speak via my car-kit.
This worked fine with my previous phones an htc and a samsung galaxy s2.
Does anybody has the same problem or solution for this?

Solved. I bought an lg g2 some time ago snd everything just works.

Strange. My husband's moto G works just fine for Bluetooth voice dialing. Although he doesn't speak very clearly and technology devices only understand him about half the time so he ends up frustrated and doing what you were doing with manually placing the call.

At least you were able to bypass your problem. His...um, yeah ...not so much. LOL

I've found voice dialing to be a disappointment, as well. The only way it works well (FSVO "well") is when you use Google Now. Last time I enabled GN: A week later Google Play Services started sucking the battery dry, as GPS is prone to do, on occasion, which is why I tend to avoid unnecessary Google services.

So: GN is again disabled and, this time, will remain disabled. Permanently. Thus voice dialing is essentially worthless.

I have a bluetooth car-kit and that works quite well. (I speak to the mic of the car). Worked wel with htc, samsung and with the lg2 I now have. Voice dial did not work at all with the moto g.So i gave it to my wife because this was important for me that this worked.
