Dialler

I came from a nexus 4 to the g3. I really liked the dialer on the nexus. Specifically that: if a local business phones (e. G car dealer to arrange service) the name of the business appeared before I answered. . I get so many junk calls it would be good to know at least some of who the calls are.

Is there a dialer I can install that will do this?

The phone automatically identifies calls from people it "knows" - i.e. your contacts. There are also apps that sit between the dialer and the radio that intercept it (CallerID that came as bloatware from Verizon, for instance). I don't think any dialers have that service built in however.

OK thanks. It was the capability of getting an id on numbers not in my contacts I am looking for.

Hah. I should have realised when you said they tried to monetize it. Sounds like Vodafone!
