RocketDial App replacement?

Hi there,

Is there any dialer which has the feature to display ALL calls history under a Caller Name rather than listed by date; and search contacts by T-9 method on numberic keyboard (0-9) like RocketDial?

I' ve been using RocketDial for many years on many phones until I swapped for S24U, lately. I can NOT re-install RocketDial APK due to it only launched as 32-bit app, therefor, S24U rejected it.

Welcome to Android Central forums. I'm not sure I fully understand what you're wanting to do but assume you've tried these things with the stock dialer on the S24? It may just work differently through a different app.

If I'm understanding your first question, there is no way to sort call history by caller however there is a way to see your full call history with an individual. I'll post pics below but the way to do this is in the S24 stock Dialer app is to open the app>Recent tab at the bottom of the screen>then use the search bar to search the name of the caller, this would be with the regular keyboard, OR if the caller appears on the screen, with or without scrolling, touch the name>within the data displayed there is a circle with 3 lines which displays all call information for that contact, times dates, incoming, outgoing, missed... etc.

As for your second question you can find any contact or phone number by typing T9 style on the open dial pad. Just start typing and everything that matches that combination pops up. 3248 will produce Davids, numbers that include those number, and lower on the list numbers that are close to those digits in case you miss typed.

Maybe not the steps you've become accustom to but simple none the less. Plus Samsung's dialer has a lot of useful tools like Spam detection and blocking. Plus it now has live translation, Text Call and WiFi calling. Look in the settings for these and other options.

1, I can use "T9" search now, but it as not as good as Rocket Dialer.

2, I found the EXDialer for "Incoming/Outgoing/Missed calls" are grouped under contact; however, this app interfered too much to orignal samsung dialer & much less options vs. Rocket Dialer.

I can still use all features of Samsung like you mentioned e.g Spam detection & blocking, live translation, Text Call on Samsung S23 Ultra (which I still have) with Rocket Dialer. On S24 Ultra, Rocket Dialer is not installable due to 64-bit restriction.
