Dictate in Facebook Messenger.

Can't dictate in Facebook w/ LG V40. I think it's doing it someplace in the background but I can't see it and I can't select what has been dictated.

I think the problem has been fixed. Now all of a sudden it's working and ironically yesterday I was having a tough time with the Facebook app scrolling down on my page, which I could not do, and then hours later it got better so maybe they were making some changes.


So, maybe somebody from Google's Android division saw my posting and went ahead and fixed it. It was strange because what I had to do, after I discovered a workaround, was dictate it, hit the top left corner of the screen, which had the recommended phrases in the background and that would bring that page to the foreground and I would select the phrase I want and then hit icon with the person's face on it to go back into messenger and then just tap the space where I want to put the text. Now, the dictated text comes up in the foreground immediately where I could just select it and then put it right in to my paragraph. So it's saving two steps. Initially I didn't see that the dictated selected paragraphs were in the background.
