Did any of you have problems with activating on Verizon?

My current phone is a 5s.

I went in today and got a nano sim card today.

I have been on the line with verizon for over an hour trying ot get the phone activated.

Did anyone else have trouble with verizon?

Tech support is saying it might be a problem with my familybase plan.
