Yes I downloaded the update but postponed installing it till I know what it's for. Keep an eye on the note 5 forum as they probably just received similar update according to a post in there.

some reported that it fixed the remaining stage fright vulnerabilities, nothing more.

I got the update... It allows for VIDEO CALL!!! Similar to "face time" on iPhone. There's also a text feature I read about but I have not had time to check out the details.

You will be able to natively video call other s6, s6 edge, note 5, s6 edge plus users. They're also adding advanced messaging to allow for things like read memos, or typing notification. Like whatsapp or imessage

Yep. It works great too. Just video called my girlfriend on her regular s6 edge...it's definitely a valuable feature and it's nice tmobile is doing these things while the other big carriers are not. Just another reason I'm happy as a mofo with tmo!

What problems are you having with them? I like how you can attach your location to a text via Google maps. Send files up to 1gb and videos and contacts all very easy now...

Google maps is very useful. And I often use it to navigate.
