Did I brick my phone?

bricked it ?

So here is the case
samsung galaxy nexus was updating OTA from 4.0.4.
Nexus "X" was loading (typical brightening and fading) and battery pulled out of mobile due to jerk.
Mobile is not turning on after since.

Did i brick it ?
how to turn back handset

Did you pull the battery and try restarting? Try rebooting from recovery mode - hold power button and volume down at the same time.

yes i tried starting it up after pulling the battery, but no success

Try searching for topics such as "unbrick galaxy nexus". I found a number of links which may help you. Do you have the Android SDK (ADB and fastboot) tools installed on your computer?

Have you ever rooted or unlocked your phone's bootloader so you can install custom ROMs? Or is your phone running stock Android straight from the factory?

Phone is running stock 4.0.4.
Phone is not turning on nor phone is getting into recovery mode (power and volume down button)

You try to hold power, volume up and home... lets getting into recovery mode.
