Did I damage oleophobic coating?

Recently, I applied a plastic screen protector film to my screen. It was the Zagg kind, the kind where you spray it on and adhere it. However, I removed it about a day later because it made the screen look awful. Could this have removed the oleophobic coating?

Unless you used abrasive cleaners or a strong adhesive (not the kind found on film protectors), you should be fine.
