Did I receive the wrong Zenfone 2 model?

Hello all, Newbie here. I hope this is the right forum for this question. I ordered the $300 Zenfone 2 from Amazon. It was sold by Asus. When I received it, I see that it has 64 GB storage, 2.3 GHz but 2 GB RAM and not 4 GB. The model number in regulatory information says ASUS_ZOOAD. I'm not sure if I received the correct model. I thought I would receive ZE551ML version. Am I overlooking something or has the wrong model been delivered?

The box says ASUS_ZOOAD ( ZE551ML) though. The information on the phone says it's 2GB through! Does it say 4GB on yours? (If you have ZE551ML). Thanks

What u've got could be a model which is gonna launch in (near) future because till my knowledge there's no model of zf2 with 2.3ghz Intel processor & 2gb ram and also the model no u've got isn't out yet. Make sure once again that which version u have got.

There was one person on here who said that model with 64GB/2GB was sold only in their country and that they had one. I will see if I can find who it was with a quick search.

CORRECTION: I found the posts and it was the inverse. They had a 32GB/4GB RAM version that was sold only in China. Perhaps there is also a China model with 64GB/2GB but I can't say.

Since you can get the 64GB/4GB version for the same price, I would return yours and get the one you want. You can also order directly from Asus to be certain you get it from a legitimate seller and an official warranty.

Have you tried performing a hardware reset including wipe cache partition?
