Pixel Watch 3 (45mm) - Random reboot and lock up

Hey everyone,
I noticed at times randomly my Pixel Watch 3 will reboot on its own for no reason. It's on the latest update available (March 5th 2025 security patch and build BP1A.250305.019.W7).

Other times I noticed that it randomly rebooted on its own but also locks up at the G logo boot up screen. Only way to get it working is to press and hold the crown and button to force reboot and let it boot up normally.

Anyone else experiencing these issues ? I've tried factory resetting multiple times after all the updates but doesn't seem to resolve the issue.

thanks everyone. So i lately noticed the lockup issue is no longer happening, but I definitely experience the Watch rebooting itself every now and then for no apparent reason.

and only reason I know it is rebooting is the Watch vibrates, and when I go to check the Watch, it's at the lock pin screen and when I type in the PIN, the Watch says "starting up"..

I already wiped it twice but no resolution. :-(

Warranty? I don't recall how long the watch has been out.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is the 2nd watch now. Already replaced the first one as a warranty item because of this.

I figure it's some software bug.

Yes this has been happening to me as well on my new Pixel Watch 3. I thought I was the only one!

I also have everything updated. It's been happening almost since I got the watch about 6 months ago. The reboots seem to come in waves. Nothing for weeks and then randomly a few times in a single day, for a few days at a time. Then back to nothing.

I have the pin disabled so the watch just goes right back to the main screen on its own, but about 1/5 times that it reboots it will get stuck on the G loading screen until I press both buttons to hard reset it. Also, if i don't notice it for a while the G loading screen bug drains the battery very fast. It got stuck today in the G loading screen and went from 99% to 66% battery in the 15 minutes since I had last looked at the screen.

I had wondered if maybe one of the extra apps I have installed is causing the issue. The only 4 I have are:
Sleep as Android
Any.do
Complications suite
Simple Weather

Do you have any of these on your watch?

Well I am glad I am not going crazy. LOL.

I actually don't have any 3rd party apps installed on the watch. It's all the native apps that come with the watch it self.

I've RMA'd mine with Google. Sent back yesterday.

I figured that might be my only option as well. I got my watch through a contract with my phone provider (Telus) so I'm not sure if I should contact them or Google directly, but I'll figure it out.

Contact Telus and check. I got mine through Amazon when it was on sale. Issue started after the return period with Amazon, so they directed me to go through Google. Google has now twice RMA'd the watch, so this is my 3rd Pixel Watch 3. Frustrating to say the least.
