Sadly Samsung abandons almost all their products when a new one is released. My wife had a Note 2 and about 2 months after the 3 was released her battery died. Couldnt find one from Samsung or the carrier. Was informed by Samsung they quit making them. Its sad that these devices cost more than some computer systems and when a new one comes out the old ones arent cared much about anymore.

I love my Gear S. Too bad they don't support it anymore. I still suprised that my Note 4 got Lollipop.

It looks like they have to me. I have an LG G Watch and it is amazing that it works with the latest update Google sent out. I'm thinking if going back to Android Wear

Guess there is hope. Verizon just sent a 30+mg update to my S. Just got it last week for my birthday. Did not have any interest in the S2. Anyway, among other things it addressed the Bluetooth issue with Marshmallow. I have a Note 4 so not sure I will have to worry about that. Just got updated to 5.1.1 and never thought that was going to happen. Maybe it will get mm before I get the 6.
