Did the update for Google search fix your freezing issues w/ Froyo?

Google search was updated in the Market, and a report came in via the Android Central app that it seems to have fixed the freezing issues with Droid X's running Froyo. Anyone else seeing any improvements?

FYI: Official change log says support for small LDPI screens added (Continum ticker bar please!) and "Bugfixes"

Is this just the same widget except without the voice activated capability?
