Did updating my Droid mini delete mt signature option?

droid mini update? message signeture MIA :/

okay i just bought myself the Droid mini X1030 and i love it when i first got it it had the option for a text signature i recently got it activated on straight talk and did a update from Verizon i believe and now the signature option is gone is it because of the update?

I use Messaging for texting. In Settings, there's an Add signature item. Under that is a Signature item. Pressing it lets you enter the signature you want. Every texting app is different.
