So, I haven't received the kit-kat update on my nexus 7 yet. Has anyone received it? How long does it usually take to roll out?

Usually a couple weeks....I wouldn't expect to see it start rolling out until at least the end of the month.

I hope not as the HTC one gpe is slated slated to get it very soon and that would be a low blow to a nexus owner..... That a gpe device get it before a true Google nexus device.

It is my understanding that pretty much all Google retailed devices will receive 4.4 approximately the same time.

Personally, I do not care if one Google retailed device receives Kit Kate slightly before another as it is going to faster than carrier branded handsets no matter what.

Having said that I understand those that do as there is a perceived feeling that Nexus branded handsets should receive the latest iteration of Android before any other handset.
