Happy you did it? Mad you did it? Indifferent? Just curious about peoples thoughts who did this move.

Hardware wise, they're are 10% increased. The main reason I switch is the less curved screen.

I love the 22U and plan on keeping it at least 2 years. It's a great phone and the 22U was great too but I do love the battery on this one so much better to me. Haven't taken alot of pics or video yet but going out tonight and will test out video. I don't know much about camera settings I just use whatever it's defaulted on for video and use auto for pics. But so far I am pleased and glad we upgraded. Had the 21U and only got the 22 cause of the 1000 trade in and wanted the 23U all along. Don't use the pen as much as I'd like I need to watch a tutorial LOL!

Happy with the upgrade. It only cost me a little over $200 range using an old iPhone 8 for the trade-in so it was a no-loss situation for me. And I still have my S22U. ;)

If you are asking because you are on the fence on doing so, my feeling is do it only if it doesn't cost you more than a few hundred out of pocket. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it myself.

The S22U is a perfectly fine phone and could keep rocking it until the S24U or maybe even the S25U.

Happy with the upgrade, I ended up keeping my S22 Ultra and giving it to my husband since he was on a S9 and desperately needed a new phone.

I used the S23U for about 5 full days and decided to keep my S22U. The 23U camera is awesome, and the speakers are much better, as is the battery. Other than that, there wasn't enough of a difference for the cost. I was very disappointed in the low trade in. The 5.1 update for the S22U was also a factor in me keeping it. No knocks to the S23U, more of an appreciation for the continued greatness of the S22U.

I've been happy with the switch. I got the lime so new color is pretty awesome. The battery seems way better, I can pull 2 days off no problem. And I like the less curved screen.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra which works seamlessly.

I'm in the UK with the Exynos soc.

I've pondered over buying the Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra but right now I've not pulled the trigger as my current phone does everything I need it to.

I went from the s22 ultra to the s23 plus best trade in ever. I hate the curved screen bad for screen protectors now with a flat screen no problem screen protector was easy and FPS works great.

I ended up spending about $365 (plus tax) to upgrade from a green 256GB S22U to a red 512GB S23U, both unlocked. I'll probably upgrade again in a year, and I'm satisfied to be paying about $1 per day over that time for the improved camera, battery life, processor speed, and doubled storage.

Happy overall.
Signal and reception seem better and a faster connection speed. Battery on my Exynos S22 Ultra was already good but this is better, in fact my expected battery life on the S22U under my usage was 2 days and 9 hrs, the S23U is 4 days and 4 hrs, flatter sides make it feel less likely to drop if you don't use a case, which I don't at home very often, the only thing not to like for me was price/trade in which the s23u cost me £575 after various deals.

How did you manage that for an unlocked version?

The main tricks were selling my old (totally scratch-free) phone online instead of doing the Samsung trade-in; using the $150 Samsung registration/pre-order credit to buy an accessory which I sold new/unopened online; and $180+ Rakuten cash-back.

Ok, that explains it, you sold stuff. I'm glad I kept my ear buds pros 2, this regained my beliefs in Samsung ear buds again. The buds 2 were a disaster

I'm thinking about going with the plus this time around because I still have my S22U with the S-Pen if needed. I will be trading in my 14 Pro and going back to Samsung. Btw how is your battery life on the plus vs. what you had on the S22U?
