Difference between older WiMax and newer LTE phones?

I would ignore people with bad grammar and spelling, like Mellimel22. He has no idea what he's talking about.

It would be way too expensive and bulky to have a phone with WiMax & LTE. Just because AT&T has HSPA+ and LTE doesn't mean Sprint is going to have LTE and Wimax. Wimax and HSPA+ are vastly different.

Ok if your saying that lte phone will have sim card gsm thing in it to use lte the the evo design would if you are correct be able to use both wimax and lte if it is simple sim card that is in the device to use lte the evo design is a world phone it can use both cdma and gsm networks am i correct on this if lte devices have a sim card for the 4g

Oooo boy...... a SIM card does not magically give a phone LTE, it needs a LTE Radio. I don't see why any manufacture would bother making a dual radio (LTE/WiMAx) phone when WiMax is going away.

To make this clear...
WiMax needs a WiMax Radio
LTE needs a LTE Radio

They both take up room inside phone and just think of the battery life
