Different android icons across two identical phones...

Hi. We have two identical Galaxy S6 Edge and the default icons (i.e. messages, email, gallery etc.) look completely different. Mine is the standard icons and the other has smaller more "bubbly" looking icons. I've tried searching for a fix on the web but nothing has worked so far. I've seen you should be able to edit icons by long holding them down but this doesn't work.

Any ideas??

P.S. I have screenshots of both but don't know if I can add them on this post...

Re: Different android icons across two identical phones...

Screenshots would help, so I can see what you see. But my question is are the devices rooted? If so then which ever phone has the different icons has been modified.

By this whomever owns that phone has either flashed a custom ROM onto the device or has flashed a custom icons pack.

If the devices are not rooted, then a custom launcher has been installed. Example: Nova launcher, Go launcher, etc.

As miner_films said there could be different launchers. Also check if any of the phones downloaded a different theme for the stock TW.

You probably downloaded Samsungs new update on one phone. One of your phones should have the S6 Edge+ icons and the other one the old ones.

Either one got the recent update and the other didn't, or is it possible that one has a different theme packet installed?
