So the charger that comes with the S7+ is super slow :/

Its honestly the only thing I'm disappointed with so far. Has anyone purchased a charger that they can recommend? The Samsung 45w charger is$50... wondering if there is a cheaper alternative people have found.

I use Anker PowerPort units in 2 places at home and on my desk at work (total of 3), all with the USB-C port. The oldest of them indicates fast charging with my Tab S7. I never really paid attention to the actual speed of the charge, it seems pretty fast though. I don't have the S7+ though so my battery is a little smaller than yours.

It doesn't look like there is a significant difference of charging speed between the 25 watt charger that comes with the Note 10/20 phones and the 45 watt charger.

I considered getting the 45 watt charger but then realized it was not that serious.

The charger that comes with the s7+ seems to be a 15w... its a weird choice by Samsung

I'm currently charging with my charger from my Note 10..

It says "Super fast charging". When I plug it in with the charger that came with the S7+, it only says "Fast Charging"

The S7+ has a 3,000 mAh battery, so 15W is about the max the battery can be safely charged at. Getting the 45W charger would be a complete waste of money, as the phone isn't even compatible with that newer charging protocol.

That phone is also fairly old. I would check to make sure the cable and charging ports are free of debris, and also try a new cable because those are prone to going bad.

This is the S7 tablet group my friend :)

If you happened to buy a Note 20 Ultra, the Ultra comes with a 25W charger, vs. the 15W charger that comes with the S7+, which is really odd.

Not really weird... more like greedy. They are doing an Apple and including a dog slow charger to encourage you to upgrade to the 45 watt, to get 50 more bucks out of you. Basically adding $50 more to the already high price tag.
