Different keyboard when asked for password

I have a Alcatel TCL LX Android 8.1 and when asked for a password anywhere I get a different keyboard then my normal keyboard. Why is this and could it be some kind of key stroke copy program?

Nope, this is normal. If you're typing in a password field, autocorrection, suggestions and other features (like Google search) are disabled from the keyboard.
