Different microphone performance on left or right hands!!

Hi All,
I love my P20Pro, but 1 thing realy gets me.

On approx 75% of calls if I hold my phne in my left hand at approx 45°(ear to mouth) my caller says 'are you under water?' I change the phone to my right hand at approx 45°(ear to mouth) and my caller says great I can hear you now, no problems.

There is no lint/dust in the mic hole.

I have used the voice recorder to test holding the phone in the left and right hand mic operation... the recordings were the same!!!

Any ideas???

I would suggest putting in safe mode also see how the calls are in either hand .

The voice recorder uses the mic at the top, the phone (when not using the speakerphone) uses the mic at the bottom - and you're probably covering it with a finger or your palm when you hold the phone in your left hand. Hold the phone up near the middle, not at the bottom.
