Different notification sounds for different apps

Hi, looking for a little help with notifications. Seems like such a simple thing to set different sounds for different apps, as I have for messages and email, however I can’t set a different sound for MLB At Bat, as an example. Every notification sounds like my default messages sound. I’ve already been into the app info and the app settings. Is this not possible on the Pixel 2 XL? Thanks in advance for any help.

If it if possible it would be in settings.

Settings > Apps & Notifications > See All Apps

Scroll down to MLB app and tap on it.

Tap App Notifications

The setting should be in there if MLB app allows for custom notification sounds.

There is an app called Light Flow which allows you to customise notifications. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rageconsulting.android.lightflowlite

I am a bit late to this conversation, but I found the setting by going to:

Settings > Apps & notifications > App Info

From there I selected the App, then

App Notifications > Notifications > Sound

Once I click on Sound I am able to select a sound for just that App.

Looking at the Google Voice app on my Pixel 3 right now. I don't see an option for changing the notification sound
